I have over twenty-five years' experience in the film and television industry. After starting out as a production PA and co-ordinator, I moved into script reading and editing, with clients including the UK Film Council, ITV Drama, Granada Film and The Script Factory.
I was Head of Drama Development at Minotaur International, where I combined creative and editorial skills with an insight into the commercial and international financial markets. I then spent three years as Commissioning Editor, Drama at Channel 5, where I commissioned the Perfect Day trilogy, Tripping Over (on which I was also executive producer) and Kitchen with Eddie Izzard.
I now work as a script development consultant, and as a Senior Lecturer in Scriptwriting, Film & Screen Studies at the University of Northampton.
